My husband and I both love great food, and are always on the lookout for special ‘eating out’ experiences that offer good value as well as varied gustatory delights. Unless otherwise noted in a specific article, the dollar/price ratings at the end of each commentary apply to a basic meal for one person, before tip and taxes (which at present are an additional 12% in British Columbia). And for anyone who may be wondering, the standard tipping practice in this part of the world is 15% of the total before tax, 20% for exceptional service.
